Gravadora lançará versões de luxo de Hunting High and Low e Scoundrel Days. Discos trarão raridades

Os fãs do a-ha que adoram colecionar material sobre a banda agora já tem mais um item para incluir na lista. É que a gravadora norte-americana Rhino Records (do grupo Warner Music) lançará versões dupla de luxo dos dois primeiros álbuns do grupo: Hunting High and Low e Scoundrel Days. O anúncio oficial foi feito nesta quinta-feira (6) pela própria gravadora e repercutido pelo a-ha.com. A notícia sobre o lançamento, inclusive, já havia sido dada meses atrás pelo empresário da banda, Harald Wiik.

Os discos trarão, além das versões lançadas oficialmente em 1985 e 1986, versões demo, remixagens e gravações ao vivo das músicas. Boa parte dessas versões já é conhecida pelos fãs do a-ha, através de gravações não-oficiais e também pelo disco The Demo Tapes, lançado em conjunto com a biografia The Swing of Things em 2004.

A edição de luxo de Hunting High and Low traz várias preciosidades, como uma versão instrumental de Take on Me e as versões demo de The Sun Always Shines on T.V e Train of Thought. O disco inclui ainda as canções Driftwood e Lesson One, considerada a primeira versão de Take on Me.

Já a edição de luxo de Scoundrel Days traz um apanhado de raridades, como as versões demo de todas as canções do disco, assim como músicas ao vivo da turnê de 1986 na Inglaterra.

Cada edição de luxo estará disponível para pré-venda a partir da próxima terça-feira (11) exclusivamente no site oficial da Rhino Records. A previsão é de que as vendas comecem no final de junho.
